The One Ahead Card Trick from the viewer's perspective

We kindly ask our spectators to name an object, a color, and a randomly determined playing card. In this incredible demonstration, you will witness the one ahead card trick.
Our skilled performer will then make three predictions, which will be demonstrated with either three volunteers or one person who gives all three answers.

The mentalist tells the spectator to look him in the eyes

Here is the process from the viewer's perspective

1. The spectator chooses an object

The mentalist tells the (first) person to look him straight in the eyes; then he writes his inspiration face down on a piece of paper.
He places this paper in an empty container in front of him so that he can no longer change or alter the paper.
The mentalist then asks the person to pick any object in the room and name it out loud.

2. The spectator thinks of a color of his choice

The mentalist then looks the (second) person in the eyes, writes his prediction again face down on a new piece of paper and places it in the container.
He tells the person to pick any color in the room and say it out loud.

3. A random card is chosen

For the third prediction, the mentalist again writes his note on a piece of paper and places it in the container.
This time the spectator is asked to think of a two-digit number and subtract the digits from it.
The mentalist then hands the spectator a smartphone with the numbers 1 to 99 on it. Under each number is a randomly generated playing card. The spectator should look for the number that corresponds to the result of his or her arithmetic problem and then name the corresponding playing card.

4. The predictions are read

The mentalist empties the container with the three pieces of paper on the table and asks a spectator to read them aloud. Each piece of paper contains the correct prediction - for the object, the color, and the card.
